Lt. Stanessa,

I am making a formal complaint of a liquor code violations against Fat Jacks bar in downtown Bloomington.  Again, the original complaint was sent to the Mayor Stockton, a Bloomington Liquor Commissioner, in hopes that it would be turned over to the Bloomington Police for investigation.  To date, no investigation has occurred, so I am sending it to your attention. Thank you.

Subject: Liquor Code violations Fat Jacks 11/10/06 and 11/11/06

Mayor Stockton,

I would like to report two more liquor code violations of two people walking out of Fat Jack's bar with bottles of beer.

This first code violation happens at Fat Jacks South front entrance on November 10, 2006 at just before midnight, as she walked out the south front door with a bottle of beer, and while waiting for her friend, a doorman finally spots her after she has exited the bar and grabs the bottle from her.  Please see the attached photographs.

The second code violation, a man walks right out the north front door of Fat Jack's with a beer clearly visable in his hand, and then stands a couple of feet away from the door and uses his cell phone clearly holding a beer for awhile.  No one bothered to see or take his beer from him.  He then walked up the street heading south.  This happened November 11, 2006 at approximately 12.55 am.  Please see the attached photographs.

I have video evidence of these violations and the City of Bloomington Liquor Commission and the City of Bloomington Police are welcome to view this evidence.

Sincerely,
John Shank
