Chief Aikin,
I would like to make a formal complaint about
alledged liquor code violations at Fat Jack's early Sunday morning March 18,
2007. I am sending four seperate emails with attached videos of
the violations due to their size. They should be viewable in Windows Media
Player 11 using WIndows XP.
The first open container was a man was openly
carrying a long neck beer bottle in front of Fat Jacks. At one point, I
eyewitnessed him enter their airlock with the bottle to hand something or
receive something from a woman inside the airlock. No one tried to take
the bottle from him.
The second violation was a man openly holding and
drinking from a long neck beer bottle within three to four feet of one of the
entrances and in view of the doorman/security person for several
minutes. No one tried to take the bottle from him.
The third violation a man exited of Fat Jacks bar
with a long neck beer bottle in full view after talking with the
doorman/security person. No attempt was made by this person to stop or
take the beer bottle from the patron.
The fourth video is of two men who enter our alley
and urinate during open bar hours.
The fact that these videos and others show Fat
Jacks doormen just letting patrons blatantly walk out of the bar with open long
neck beer bottles on what is becoming a regular basis, and no one investigates,
no action is taken to hold the bar accountable. Its no wonder it continues
to happen and continues to be caught on video. And the downtown continues
to be trashed, businesses continue to be vandalised and businesses continue to
exit the downtown, its no wonder.
Sincerely,
John Shank
