Chief Aikin,
I received a letter dated November 29, 2006 from the Illinois State
Police indicating that they hand delivered two CD roms with videos from four
cameras to the Bloomington Police for investigation, viewable on a PC
showing four young men, who left Fat Jacks, and who entered our alley and
vandalised our building and a dumpster owned by Allied Waste.
These videos catch the perpetrators in action, from leaving Fat Jacks to
entering our alley and their vandalism. The video was originally sent
to the Illinois State Police in November, as the vandals came out of Fat
Jacks, and we have made numberous liquor code complaints regarding, of
which none have been investigated by the Bloomington Police. We
felt a this vandalism was most likely in retaliation to our complaints and
felt an outside investigation would be more appropriate.

Sir,
I'm not sure what tape you are talking about, but I am checking on
this issue.

Subject: Vandalism Investigation
Chief Aikin,
In my January 12, 2007 email to you, I asked if the vandalism
incident against our business by individuals who exited Fat Jacks, and
caught on video, and this video evidence was delivered to the
Bloomington Police by the Illinois State Police, is this being
investigated? You did not reply to my question. Is this
crime being investigated by the Bloomington Police. It has been
approaching two months since this evidence was delivered to the
Bloomington Police. And to date, no one from the Bloomington
Police have contacted regarding any investigation.
